The Samsung Moment is the second Android powered handset to launch on the Sprint network. Unlike the HTC Hero, the Samsung Moment features a slide-out QWERTY keyboard along with a 3.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen display. The Sprint Samsung Moment also includes a 3.2 mega-pixel camera with flash and camcorder ability.
The smartphone is powered by an 800MHz processor and is stocked with all the necessary wireless options, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and support for Sprint’s EV-DO Rev. A network.
Just like the Sprint HTC Hero, the Samsung Moment offers various access to Sprints own services, such as Sprint Navigation, Sprint TV, NFL Mobile Live, and the usual Android Market apps and Google services.
The handset also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack , support for visual voicemail and can be expanded to include 32GB of SDCard memory.
The Samsung Moment launched with Android 1.6 software, but an update to the newly unveiled Android 2.0 will be made available shortly.
